Aiming at understand the research status and trend of antibiotics in soil, the theoretical foundation about the research progress is supplied through the knowledge mapping analysis of previous literature. In this study, CiteSpace software was employed to make a metric and visual analysis to research progress of antibiotics in soil based on the literature from 1941 to 2018 in Web of Science database, then to reveal the research development and knowledge structure of antibiotics in soil. The results showed as follows. (1) The study of antibiotics in soil experienced three stages, that is, initial exploration period of 1941-1989, steady development period of 1990-2002, and subsequently rapid growth period of 2003-2018. (2) The research of antibiotics in soil has been widely concerned in multidisciplinary fields, and follow-up innovative research requires cross-disciplinary cooperation. Core-authors group of antibiotics in soil research has already formed; as the term of agent, the largest amount of literature around of antibiotics in soil was reported by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. As the term of country, the influences of reports were dominated by the United States and Germany. (3) The research on the types and residues levels, simulation of environmental behaviors, and the ecological toxicity control of antibiotics in soil and resistance genes were the research concern. There still exist some problems about antibiotics in soil research that need to be resolved. To solve a series of ecological risks and human health problems caused by the abuse of antibiotics, it is suggested to strengthen the emphasis on antibiotics in soil research, and the further study need to be focused on the combination of innovative methods and technologies. |
